Praha 5

Time for some pictures.  Most taken in the Old Town area (Stare Mesto) where you find the best preserved, most beautiful, pristine and colourful buildings.  Many architectural styles represented.
Can you see how if I had led with these pictures, you'd get a very different impression of Prague?


The haunting quality of Prague is well represented by this shot, taken from the Charles Bridge.
You'll see later that Mucha just nails this quality in his paintings. 


This is what a lot of people come to Prague to see.  It's pretty but is so little of what the city is about.





These muted tones are characteristic of this city.
