The word luxury can give the impression that it must cost a lot or is something only a billionaire can afford to do, buy or experience. Not so.

Here's my list of luxuries as seen and experienced by someone who is kinesthetic and visual.

  • a black sky teaming with stars
  • silence
  • sound of waves crashing
  • smell of the woods
  • rose windows of Notre Dame
  • Bourges Cathedral
  • french antiques
  • dance
  • a Rodin sculpture
  • Trevi fountain
  • classical paintings
  • photo realism
  • nature's wonders
  • a good meal
  • clothes that fit well
  • a down comforter
  • a good book
  • lessons
  • a strong cup of tea
  • fresh whipped cream
  • blue skies
  • mountain air
  • airports
  • European architecture
  • ferry rides

What's on your list?
